Meet the Top Dogs Founders / Authors / Instructors:
Bob McComb
Bob McComb has enjoyed tremendous success in commercial real estate as an agent, broker, owner of a commercial firm, recruiter, teacher, speaker, and author.
He began his career in commercial real estate well over 20 years ago in the San Francisco Bay Area. The hundreds of properties he’s handled range from small community commercial properties, all the way up to the famous Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco. Along the way, he’s assisted in the purchase and/or sale of properties in every category of commercial property and has negotiated many hundreds of commercial lease transactions.
A few years after entering the industry, he became the founding partner of Starboard Commercial Real Estate and was the first president of the San Francisco firm. His firm quickly grew and thrived as a result of his leadership. His experiences as a highly successful broker, manager, recruiter and trainer of commercial real estate agents have proven invaluable to thousands of other owners and managers of commercial firms.
Over the years, Bob has also taken the time to share his expertise. He was a regular columnist on commercial leasing for a leading San Francisco area newspaper chain and was a featured columnist on lease negotiation in the Commercial Property Guide. He’s also the author of two books on commercial real estate:
He has taught at colleges and universities on the subject of real estate and is a regular speaker and instructor for NAR’s Commercial Alliance. He has also spoken nationally and internationally at almost every major commercial real estate association, network, and convention.
In 2000 he teamed up with Peter Droubay to form Top Dogs Commercial Real Estate Training. Together they have produced a wide variety of educational programs for commercial real estate brokers. These courses are now in use in over 1000 firms and continue to grow in influence. They include:
In addition, Bob is also active in a wide variety of other pursuits. A former Marine, he’s proud to be a veteran and is active in community service. He speaks French fluently, is an avid, highly competitive sailboat racer, always enjoys a great game of bridge, used to be a professional musician and still enjoys music. Most importantly to him, he’s a very proud father of two children.
Peter Droubay
Peter Droubay is an energetic speaker and corporate trainer who’s given over 4,000 workshops, classes and speeches. He now owns numerous companies, including Salestrainer.com, a company that produces and markets business-training products around the world. As a result, he’s helped thousands to increase their sales and business revenues.

Peter also produces training materials for nationally recognized franchises and other business opportunities that offer dealerships, distributorships, or franchises. His training materials have helped hundreds of small business owners to start and operate their businesses successfully. In addition to his work producing training programs for these business opportunities, he consults with many of them and plays an active role in their success.
Pete spends much of his time conducting sales and marketing training events, classes and seminars throughout the country and abroad. Audiences in North America, South America, and as far away as Russia and India have benefited from his fun, easy-going nature. The son of a diplomat, Pete grew up around the world, is fluent in Spanish, and has a unique rapport with people from all walks of life.
